Airolite Celebrates 100th Anniversary In 2019

Schofield, WI - Airolite, a leading manufacturer of architectural and high-performance louvers, grilles, screens and sun controls, with manufacturing locations in Schofield, WI; Frankfort, KY; and Sacramento, CA, is commemorating its 100th anniversary in 2019.

Airolite began operations in Marietta, OH in 1919 as a manufacturer of metal louver door panels. Over the course of the next century, Airolite became the first manufacturer to offer exterior wall louvers with all-welded construction to ensure product performance in the most extreme environments, and was among the first to offer extruded aluminum louvers with anodized and Kynar coatings.

Airolite also built the first U.S. wind-driven-rain test facility for louver weather resistance performance. Acquired by the Greenheck Group in 2004, Airolite continues to fulfill the unique visions of clients with innovative, high performance custom products that meld form with function, and exceptional customer service that delivers “the look that works.” A member of the US Green Building Council, Airolite offers more AMCA Licensed products and Miami-Dade or Florida Approved building products than any other manufacturer.
