Hatfield, PA – Following on the heels of a newly launched Field-Fabricated Installation System for its ACM panels, and the development of a new exterior grade rigid insulation sheathing, Laminators Inc. has announced the availability of new videos that fully demonstrate the installation process for each product.
Laminators' new and improved 1-Piece, Tight-Fit Molding installation system is a fully designed, integrated and tested ACM panel and installation system. It is intended to offer a traditional appearance at a more affordable cost. The back-drained and ventilated
sub-framing provides enhanced system performance through improved moisture management and increased ventilation. When combined with Laminators’ new Omega CI sheathing product, the new 1-Piece, Tight-Fit Molding installation system offers an effective solution for veneer installations over continuous insulation, balancing thermal performance with water management and fire resistance code requirements.
The 1-Piece, Tight-Fit Molding installation system is compliant with the NFPA 285 standard for multi-story fire testing for installations over Omega CI and exterior-grade, glass-mat faced gypsum sheathing.
The new Omega CI is a rigid insulation panel comprising a closed-cell polyiso foam core bonded to a premium performance-coated glass backer and a 5/8” fire-treated plywood face.
