Alfrex Announces New Hires In Sales And Project Development
Buford, GA - Alfrex, LLC has announced two new additions
to its team: Camille Knezevich as a Project Development Specialist for North America, and Dann Kerns as a Regional Sales Manager for the Midwest Region.
In her role, Knezevich will be responsible for increasing the specification rates of Alfrex FR MCM and Alfrex Plate aluminum wall cladding products. Kerns, meanwhile, will promote both the Alfrex FR metal composite material (MCM) and Alfrex Plate
architectural wall cladding product lines in a sales capacity.
Knezevich began her professional career in 2004 at the South Carolina Department of Employment and Workforce in recruiting and business account development. In 2012, she began work in a dual Project Developer / Customer Service role for an aluminum
composite material manufacturer, where she contributed significantly to the increase in the specification rates of their MCM brand. In 2019, Knezevich joined EMS Chemie in Sales Support where she executed complete customer order ownership from order
reception to fulfillment and delivery.
“Camille possesses a unique skill that combines product knowledge, energy, tenacity, and finesse to convince architects and general contractors that our products should be included in their current and future building projects,” said Samuel
Chastain, Director of Commercial Operations for Alfrex. “Her unique role contributes to direct sales, while at the same time increases brand awareness with numerous players in the building product cycle.”
Knezevich holds a degree in Business Management from the University of Phoenix and will be based out of her home in Columbia, SC.
To his new position, Kerns brings over twenty-three years of sales and business development experience in architectural building products, including 16 years in metal composite wall cladding. He began his career in customer service with a leading
metal claddings manufacturer and quickly rose to become a Regional Sales Manager. In 2002 he took a position as a regional sales manager with a leading manufacturer of metal composite materials and single skin metal, where he both doubled the
customer base and sales revenue in only 2 years. Through 2019, Kerns steadily increased his territory and product line responsibilities, winning prestigious awards for results including Most New Product Sales, Largest Territory Sales Increase, and
National Salesman of the Year.
“Dann has an impressive track record of developing business in new territories with new products”, said Herb Larsen, Director of Sales and Marketing for Alfrex. “He is a perfect fit for Alfrex as we ramp up production and leverage our
unique combination of FR ACM and thicker gauge aluminum plate in a market in search of a balanced offering from a single manufacturer.”
Kerns holds a degree in Organizational Communications from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and will be based out of his home in the St. Louis, Missouri area.
Alfrex is investing in a new, FR-only MCM production facility in Buford, Georgia, which will commence production in late-2020. The operation will provide the market with a more competitive domestically produced FR ACM product with shorter lead times,
and a differentiated extended product line including 3mm thick, non-combustible, coil coated aluminum plate.
Alfrex, LLC is specialized in fire-resistant and non-combustible architectural metal wall cladding with a portfolio including Alfrex FR Metal Composite Material, matching flat sheet, coil coated aluminum Alfrex Plate, and primer-coated Alfrex plate for post painting small lot, custom colors. Its parent company, Unience, Co Ltd., began operation in 2000 as a manufacturer of specialty fire-resistant coatings, bonding materials, and pelletized mineral-filled FR compound for the manufacture of Fire-Resistant Aluminum and Metal Composite Panels (MCM). In 2008, after supplying numerous major MCM brands with FR compound, Unience launched Alfrex FR ACM in South Korea with a multi-line MCM production facility dedicated to the exclusive production of FR ACM utilizing in-house, fire-resistant core technology. Sales growth across 5 continents prompted the 2016 move of the Unience Global Headquarters to the USA and the establishment of Alfrex, LLC, with North American commercial offices in Atlanta and Toronto.
