CEI Materials Announces Several New Employees And Internal Promotions

CEi-compositeManchester, MI – CEI Materials, a nationwide, full-service provider of architectural cladding systems and components, has announced several new employees and internal promotions to fill key management positions. Among them was the naming of Alex Roy as the new Chief Financial Officer.

Roy comes to CEI Materials with ten years of financial and strategic consulting experience. Prior to joining CEI, he served as a board member at ES Rubber, an OEM rubber manufacturer, and was involved in corporate strategy projects with BDO. As CFO, Roy is responsible for financial planning, tracking cash flow, and for CEI’s financial health. He works with other executives and managers to provide long-term strategy and forecasting, as well as departmental and project-based cost-benefit analysis.

Other key appointments include Nick Sodt as General Manager, Richard Soles as Production Manager and Angie Kennedy as Human Resources Manager.

Sodt has been with CEI for six years. Previous positions within the company included Project Manager and Director of Project Management. As GM, Sodt will oversee the Design and Project Management Departments, while working closely with the Production Department.

Richard “Rick” Soles has more than 20 years of manufacturing experience and has proven abilities at executing production launches, new line installations, equipment setups, and continuous improvement projects. Coming to CEI from Classic Turning in Jackson, Mississippi, Soles brings to the Production Manager position his extensive knowledge of manufacturing principles and practices, and a proven track record of formulating and enhancing procedures to increase efficiency and decrease operating costs.

As the new Human Resources Manager, Kennedy is the new Human Resources Manager at CEI Materials and will play an integral role in CEI’s human capital and overall business strategy. As Kennedy states, “Our employees are our greatest asset, a company is only as good as the people it keeps. I enjoy continuous learning and have been a member of the local SHRM groups.”

Kenny-HallerAlso promoted recently was Kenny Haller. He’s the newest addition to the CEI Project Management team. Starting at CEI as a Laborer, Haller was promoted to supervisor in 2016. As a Project Manager, Haller will be responsible for daily communication with clients, composing project schedules, reviewing shop drawings, ordering materials, subcontracting work, all while troubleshooting and staying within strict budgetary guidelines.

As a fabricator of architectural building materials, CEI is able to cut, route, and roll up to 25,000 square feet of MCM per week. Since its founding in 2008, the company has fabricated over 6 million sq. ft. of architectural panels.
