McElroy Metal Announces Passing Of Keith Gunter

Bossier City, LA - McElroy Metal has announced the passing of Keith Gunter, the company’s Vice President of Purchasing for almost 14 years, and an industry veteran of over 40 years.

Gunter, 62, lost a short, but courageous battle with cancer, June 16.

“Keith was a respected leader within the company and a valuable member of McElroy’s executive team,” said Ian McElroy, company president. “His skills, abilities and vast experience have been key ingredients in our company’s success. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his wife, Mary, and his family.”

In addition to his experience at McElroy Metal, Gunter also worked at Metal Sales, Vicwest Steel and Morgan Building Systems.
