MillerClapperton Announces Move To New State-Of-The-Art Facility

MillerClapperton's new facility is located at 8050 Troon Circle in Austell, GA.

Austell, GA - The Miller-Clapperton Partnership Inc., a national fabricator and regional installer of engineered cladding systems, announced it has moved company operations to a new, state-of-the-art facility 20 minutes outside downtown Atlanta. MillerClapperton’s rapid growth in recent years, combined with recent investments in equipment and technology, necessitated the move.

The company moved into its first office in 1984 and established its first fabrication facility in 1988, then moved to a larger fabrication facility in 1994, where the first CNC router table was installed. MillerClapperton expanded by moving its company headquarters in 2001 and doubled its size again in 2016 by adding a second office, which was dedicated to drafting, engineering, and field operations, with a dedicated metal shop. The two buildings offered a combined 17,000 square feet of office space and 72,000 square feet of plant space.

MillerClapperton’s new home, situated on 10+ acres in Austell, GA, includes the latest technologies, amenities, and safety precautions, with more than 21,000 square feet of office space and 100,000 square feet of shop space. The increased square footage allows for an optimal layout in which strategically placed machinery and fabrication tables enable teams to work safely and efficiently, and allows for the office team to work together, collectively.

“The new office is a major milestone in the company’s 40-year history and an incredible achievement for our team of dedicated employees. The decision to expand was a logical step in our business growth plans and we consider ourselves blessed to have a strong business and a growing team. By consolidating our team under one roof and by implementing new technology and advancements through multiple segments of our company, we expect to see tremendous gains in efficiency, some of which we may not even be aware of at this time,” said Zane S. Miller, vice president at MillerClapperton. “We are excited about the opportunities for future growth this new building will provide us.”
