MBCEA Board Of Directors Elects New Officers
Bethlehem, PA - The Metal Building Contractors and Erectors Association (MBCEA) recently elected two new officers on the National Association board of directors. Jennifer Heimburger, previously serving as Secretary and a director since 2018, was elected Vice President, while long-time board member John Iveson was elected Secretary.
Jennifer Heimburger, a graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia, joined her father, Robert Heimburger, in the family business in 1999. Heimburger Construction Inc., located in Bonne Terre, MO, has been associated with Butler Building Systems since 1978. Jennifer became a part owner in 2010 and has worked in a variety of roles, including client relations and retention, estimating and field project management, overseeing accounting and project management software and hiring and managing field and office employees. She has completed the Building Commissioning certificate at the University of Wisconsin - Madison, Certified Rigger and Signal Person NCCCO 2015, OSHA 30, OSHA 10, and LEED AP BD&C 2006 courses. Jennifer joined Butler's Advisory Council in 2015 and was voted Chair of the Council in January 2017. While serving on the MBCEA board she has worked on the labor development committee and is currently exploring the AC478 accreditation process.
John Iveson was recently inducted into the 2020 Metal Construction Hall of Fame and celebrates 44 years in the industry, erecting some of the first multi-story pre-engineered buildings in New England. He worked closely with MBCEA’s predecessor, the Systems Builders Association (SBA), advocating for erector members to become full voting members of SBA and leading to the current focus on erectors in the MBCEA. He has served on the board of MBCEA’s New England Chapter since 2007 and as their Treasurer since 2015. Iveson's current position is District Sales Manager with Package Steel Systems Inc. in Sutton, MA.
