Garland Industries Announces Merger Of IMETCO And Merchant & Evans

Cleveland, OH - Garland Industries Inc., a manufacturer of high-performance roofing and building envelope products for commercial, industrial and institutional markets, has announced the merger of two of its 18 vertically integrated companies, IMETCO (the Innovative Metals Company) and Merchant & Evans.

The majority of Garland's companies specialize in developing and manufacturing waterproofing solutions for the
industrial, commercial and residential markets. According to an announcement by Garland about the new merger, the combining of IMETCO (Innovative Metals Company, Inc.) and Merchant & Evans, Inc. will "galvanize their joint position as a leading provider of metal solutions for the building envelope while promoting the sharing of resources and collaboration on future product development."

The release continues, "This newly formed joint entity offers an expansive and industry-best line of products, including metal roof systems; wall, fascia and soffit profiles; fully integrated rainscreen solutions, decking products, sound control, perimeter edge metal and accessories."

Merchant & Evans, Inc. and its flagship ZIP-RIB™ panel will continue to be a core product offering along with IMETCO’s innovative IntelliScreen™ rainscreen offering.
