Proteus Facades Offering Rainscreen Cladding In The U.S.

proteus-facadesLancashire, UK - Proteus Facades, a UK supplier of rainscreen cladding systems, announces that it has entered the U.S. market. The Proteus team has already supplied a number of projects across North America with many more under development.

Proteus has established a national agency network to offer a sales and customer service presence in the U.S. that can respond to architects and designers looking for rainscreen cladding systems.

The company offers a wide range of rainscreen cladding and internal wall cladding solutions for all project types and sizes, including high-rise commercial, parking decks, residential, health, and education, among others.

Rainscreen cladding materials and finishes offered by Proteus to U.S. specifiers range from copper, bronze, brass, zinc, stainless steel and Corten to materials such as porcelain ceramic and back painted glass. The materials are presented on its Proteus HR, Proteus CX, Proteus SC, and Proteus GL systems, which offer the benefits of rear-ventilated rainscreen cladding.

The Proteus manufacturing facility is capable of producing all elements of the façade and internal cladding. Materials are produced to customer-specific manufacturing requirements.

Simon Gregory, Sales Director at Proteus, commented, “There is so much we can offer the U.S. market in terms of materials and finishes, especially for those architects looking for a contemporary European style. The thing that makes Proteus different is our design and manufacturing capabilities with aluminum honeycomb cores, which allows our systems to create some innovative façades utilizing materials such as copper alloys, zinc and stainless steel, which challenges the traditional architectural thinking for these types of materials.”

Lee Caffrey, Managing Director at Proteus, added “We are thrilled to be expanding into the U.S. market with our rainscreen cladding systems. A growing number of architectural practices now have an international presence, so it was a natural progression to respond to this. It means, whether they are based in Europe or USA, architects have the ability to specify a Proteus Facades system for projects in either country. Our success in Europe has been our ability to respond to architectural design trends. The flexibility of our products has strengthened our position within the marketplace and we look forward to bringing this mentality to our new stateside customers.”

Proteus manufactures to internationally recognized quality standards, in accordance with its BSI ISO accredited Business Management System for Quality, Environmental and Health & Safety.
