Kansas City, MO - BlueScope Buildings North America Inc. (BBNA) announces the appointment of Ryan Hill as the new president of Varco Pruden Buildings.

Hill brings extensive industry experience from previous roles with Varco Pruden and BlueScope Buildings, most recently serving as Varco Pruden’s regional builder services manager. Previous leadership positions within the company include international engineering manager, director of corporate engineering services and engineering services manager.

“Ryan brings to the table phenomenal engineering experience that will benefit the VP Builder and VP employees tremendously,” said Greg Pasley, Ph.D., chief operating officer, BBNA. “He knows the business and the industry very well and will use that experience to help navigate the brand forward.”

“I’m grateful for this tremendous opportunity with Varco Pruden,” said Hill. “I have a strong passion for fostering builder relationships and ensuring our builders succeed, which is why I am excited to start this new journey with VP and our incredible builders.”

Hill, who will be based in Memphis, Tenn., is a licensed professional engineer who received a Master of Business Administration from Union University and a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from Tennessee Technological University. He succeeds Paul Day, a member of the BlueScope Buildings senior leadership team. Day will transition into a new role with BlueScope in Australia this summer following a transition period with Hill.
