Colorado Springs, CO — In early July, S-5!, one of the world's
leading authorities on metal roof attachment solutions, broke ground on its new office space to provide sufficient space for its staff and to better serve its customers. S-5!'s new corporate headquarters will be located on more than 4.5 acres in the
Black Forest area of Colorado Springs where S-5! clamp-to-seam technology was first conceived 30 years ago.
The new two-story office building will sport metal finishes, a solar roof and comfortable but provocative space for its thought-leaders to collaborate. An adjacent barn will be repurposed for S-5!'s video training center, prototype shop and test facilities.
The use of exterior materials will be harmonious with the rustic mountain rural and local architecture and feature a double-folded standing seam metal roof hosting a 50kW solar PV system and supported by hand-peeled log truss/columns. Corten steel
(sometimes known as weathered steel) will provide a rustic appearance. A combination of natural stone (moss rock) and stucco will complete the natural earth-tone look and feel of the space.
The office will be used to bring the executive staff of S-5! together for better, creative collaboration, birthing new and better product and marketing ideas and developing company initiatives.
“The entire site and construction is designed to resemble and feel like a residence, as this is our business culture and harmonizes with the Black Forest persona,” said Rob Haddock, S-5! CEO and founder. “We are excited to finally
have the space we need to meet the demands for our growing business.”
Since 1992, S-5! has been one of the world's leading authorities on metal roof attachment solutions. S-5!’s zero-penetration clamps attach ancillary items to standing seam and conceal-fix metal roofs, while maintaining roof integrity and warranties.
S-5! solutions are engineered for a variety of applications: snow retention, fall protection and wind performance systems, satellite dishes, solar arrays, signs/banners, light fixtures, stack/flue bracing, walkways, air conditioning, lightning protection,
equipment screens, conduit, condensate lines and more. Made in the U.S.A., S-5!’s products have revolutionized the metal roofing industry and are now installed on more than 2 million metal roofs worldwide, including 6 GW of PV, providing
unsurpassed strength and longevity. For more information, visit s-5.com.
