Bradbury Group's Athader Supplies High-Production Slitting Line For Canadian Company

Moundridge, KS — CR Slitters has purchased a high-production slitting line from Athader S.L. of The Bradbury Group, to be installed in the company’s new manufacturing facility in Salaberry-de-Valleyfield, Quebec.

The line will have the capability of slitting 0.140-inch by 62-inch by 60,000-pound coil running at up to 1,500 feet per minute and includes a high-speed packaging line. The line features state-of-the-art automation, including automatic coil loading, dual double-eccentric slitter heads with capstan and automatic slitter tooling changeover, loop double, mobile tension stand, automatic separator changeover and a highly automated slit coil packaging line.
