NCCA Sets Annual Meeting Theme And Agenda
Cleveland, OH – The National Coil Coating Association’s (NCCA) Annual Meeting is scheduled April 23-26, 2023, in Bonita Springs, FL. The theme is “NCCA: Your Wingman to Success.” The keynote speaker will be Captain Greg “The
Boss” Wooldridge. In his presentation titled "Soaring to Peak Performance", Wooldridge will describe the importance of setting clear expectations so that each and every team member can achieve superior performance while realizing a purpose larger
than self. Wooldridge is the only commanding officer to lead The Blue Angels for three separate tours.
The annual meeting will feature two panel discussions. The first panel will cover timely topics related to the aluminum market. The coating supplier panel consisting of representatives from AkzoNobel, Beckers, Continental Coatings, Dura Coat, PPG, and
Sherwin-Williams will provide their insights on sustainability, how climate change is impacting color, improving overall employee engagement and workforce challenges.
The education seminar given by Jose Velasquez, Director of Sustainability of Kloeckner Metals will cover the strategies and challenges faced through the implementation of Economics, Social & Governance (ESG) strategy.
Other highlights of the meeting include presentations on the outlook of the steel industry, and urban heat mitigation.
