MCA Announces New Membership Category For Industry Subgroups
Chicago, IL – The Metal Construction Association (MCA) has created a
new membership category to benefit regional distributors and regional
rollformers, as well as underlayment and weather barrier manufacturers.
“Membership
in MCA can help these companies reach the next level, and this new
category is a clear invitation to join us,” said Bill Hartford, MCA
Membership Committee chair. “MCA is
the go-to for all things in the metal construction industry, and we’re
pleased to welcome new members so that we can show them the power of
MCA.”
MCA
brings together more than 100 member companies—including manufacturers,
fabricators, distributors, and others—that play a role in the use of
metal in the building envelope. Benefits of membership include access to
exclusive industry reports, data, and resources, a visible presence to
the architectural design community, and the opportunity to collaborate
with industry leaders on initiatives affecting metal in construction.
About The Metal Construction Association
Founded
in 1983, MCA represents over 100 member companies that manufacture and
distribute products for the metal construction industry. The
association’s mission is to promote the use of metal in the building
envelope. Member volunteers collaborate on projects to educate
contractors and architects about best practices for metal design and
installation, while also ensuring compliance with evolving building
codes and standards that support safety, sustainability, and
performance. Companies involved in MCA benefit greatly from activities
focused on research, codes and standards, market development, and
technical programs. For more information, visit www.metalconstruction.org.
