Washington, DC - American Iron and Steel Institute (AISI) Vice President of Construction Robert J. Wills, P.E., was recognized with the prestigious American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC) Lifetime Achievement Award at NASCC: The Steel Conference
on April 12, 2023 in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Wills was recognized for “his long and illustrious career in the steel industry, including his work on codes and standards and construction market activities.”
The award was presented by AISC President Charles Carter, S.E., P.E., Ph.D. and AISC Board of Directors Chairman Steve Knitter, president of Geiger and Peters, Inc., during NASCC: The Steel Conference, an annual event hosted by AISC that brings together
thousands of professionals, academics and students involved in the design and construction of steel buildings and bridges.
