Bethlehem, PA - The Metal Building Contractors and Erectors Association (MBCEA) presented two member awards at the 54th Annual MBCEA Conference, held May 8 – 10 in Nashville, Tennessee. The Robert and Beverly Ketenbrink “Oil Can” Service Award was given to Keith Wentworth for his dedication and service to the metal building industry. Greg St. Clair was honored as a new member of the MBCEA Pioneers Club for his 33 years of service in the industry.

The Ketenbrink Award is presented to an MBCEA member who has given service to both the metal building industry as well as the MBCEA and its training partner, the Metal Buildings Institute (MBI). Wentworth, Vice President of Dutton & Garfield, Inc., in Hampstead, NH, is a past president of MBCEA and is currently the president of the MBI. He has worked to develop and promote various MBI/MBCEA training initiatives such as the MBI’s insulation module, the Retrofit Roofing informational video and the Temporary Bracing Guide. He has also been instrumental in the creation of career day resources for MBCEA members.

“The incredible work that Keith has done over the years has helped the entire industry move forward and grow,” said Jen Heimburger, MBCEA President. “I am grateful for his devotion and efforts to make the industry safer, better trained and a great place to make a career.”

The MBCEA bestows membership in the Pioneers Club to those Contractor and Erector members who have served for at least 25 consecutive years. St. Clair’s 33 years in the industry has seen him in successful roles with Star Building Systems, Behlen Manufacturing, Nucor Building Systems and now as the president of Arizona Corporate Builders. Since 2020, he has led the company to be one of the largest metal building contractors in the country.

“Congratulations to Greg,” said Sasha Demyan, MBCEA Executive Director. “33 years is a long time to work in this industry. He has thrived and is a great example for all.”
