ALPOLIC Announces Leadership Promotions With Three Named To New Roles

Chesapeake, VA — Mitsubishi Chemical America’s (MCA) ALPOLIC Division, a leader in metal composite material (MCM) manufacturing, is pleased to announce the promotion of three employees within its leadership team. Candice Rambo has been promoted to Technical Director; Steve Tatro has been promoted to National
Corporate Identity Sales Manager; and Michael Bowie has been promoted to Technical Services Manager.
“These three individuals exemplify the best of ALPOLIC, and I am so proud of their accomplishments,” said Paul Olson, ALPOLIC general manager. “Each brings experience to their new roles, and each are integral to the long- term success
of our business.”

With her promotion, Rambo now oversees ALPOLIC’s technical services and sustainability departments as well as the division’s quality, HSE and facilities programs. In addition to her nearly 15 years of experience, Rambo also holds Certified
Safety Professional (CSP) and Safety Management Specialist (SMS) certifications, a master’s degree in engineering, and a bachelor’s degree in environmental, health, safety, and occupational safety.
Tatro, who joined ALPOLIC in 2022, assumes responsibility for the division’s well-established corporate identity program, which includes more than 200 of the world’s most recognized brands. An industry veteran, Tatro has immense knowledge
of the architectural, engineering and construction markets and is a perfect fit for the corporate identity program and its unique needs.

Michael Bowie |
Bowie, a long-time employee of ALPOLIC and previous technical support specialist, will now manage the technical services department for the division. Throughout his career with ALPOLIC, Bowie has continued to amass practical and technical knowledge about
our product and our industry. He is a Certified Six Sigma Green Belt (CSSGB) and has more than 12 years of experience in quality analysis and complex problem solving.
“I have no doubt that Candice, Steve and Michael will excel in their new roles,” said Olson. “Of note, with Candice’s
promotion, she becomes the first female to hold this title within the history of our division. This is meaningful
because it illustrates our commitment to evolving into a more inclusive, progressive organization that is reflective of the diversity found within our industry.”
