Metal Building Manufacturers Association Elects Christen Funk As 2025-26 Chair

Cleveland, OH - The Metal Building Manufacturers Association (MBMA) held its annual meeting December 9 – 11 in Savannah, Georgia. The annual meeting attendance was the largest in MBMA’s history. During the event, MBMA elected Christen Funk as the organization’s next Chair for the 2025 and 2026 term. The association also elected its 2025 board of directors.

"Leading the MBMA is a great honor and privilege,” said Funk. “The next two years will offer many opportunities as well as challenges for our industry. I am looking forward to helping the organization grow and I will actively continue to promote its leading roles in the metal building systems industry.”

Metal building systems account for nearly 30% of all low-rise commercial construction in the U.S., and MBMA’s leadership has helped to grow the use and acceptance of this popular building type. Under the direction of the board and through its committees, MBMA and its members invest thousands of hours each year to ensure MBMA continues to lead and advance metal building design and construction.
