Metal Construction Association Releases 2024 Annual Report

Chicago, IL – The Metal Construction Association (MCA) has released
its 2024 Annual Report, now available on the MCA website. The report highlights MCA’s key achievements throughout the year, including advancements in advocacy, educational resources, and marketing initiatives, all of which have contributed to
the continued growth in the metal construction industry.
Key features in the report include:
Industry Insights: MCA published an in-depth, 70-page annual statistical report, offering valuable data-driven insights. The report is free to members and available to nonmembers for $3,500.
Scholarship Program: MCA launched its first class of scholarship recipients, awarding funds to support the education of member company employees and their families, including spouses, children, and grandchildren.
Sustainability Promotion: The association introduced an alternative logo to emphasize the sustainability of metal in the building envelope.
MCM System Fabricator Certification Program: MCA strengthened and updated the program to highlight the certified companies’ experience, services, systems, and financial strength.
New Technical Resources: MCA extended its library of more than 120 white papers and guides adding three new white papers:
• Cleaning MCM Panels
• Important Reminders About “Wet” Sealed MCM Systems
• Powder Coating: A Post Fabrication Option for Metal Surfaces.
Educational Initiatives: MCA continued its commitment to industry education through various platforms, including:
• Live demonstrations at the International Roofing Expo
• Courses through the Metal Architecture Academy on BNP Media’s CE Center
• Webinars and courses on Architect’s
Newspaper, Building Enclosures, AEC Daily, METALCON online, MetalTalk, Metal Coffee Shop, and Licensed Architect.
Leadership Development: The MCA Future Leaders Program continued to grow, empowering professionals under 40 to take on leadership roles in the industry.
Industry Recognition: In partnership with Kenilworth
Media, MCA honored 23 outstanding metal construction projects with Metal Construction Design Awards.
