IMETCO Partners With BIMsmith To Launch New BIM Tools For Architects And Designers

IMETCO-BIMsmith

Chicago, IL – IMETCO, a leading manufacturer of premier metal products for the building envelope, has announced a partnership with BIMsmith, the leading product research platform for building professionals, for the development of new Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools for architects, engineers, and other construction professionals.

The partnership includes a suite of new Building Information Modeling (BIM) product models for IMETCO products. These data-rich digital models contain key data representing both geometric and aesthetic properties of each product, allowing for highly accurate early-stage design. Each model integrates seamlessly with Autodesk Revit, a leading BIM design software used by building professionals globally.

The partnership also places IMETCO products in front of a global audience of architects and other building design professionals on BIMsmith, a leading cloud platform used by architects and engineers to conduct building product research.

“IMETCO is committed to going above and beyond to help architects craft beautiful, high-performance buildings,” said Josh Younger, marketing specialist at IMETCO. “We’re thrilled to partner with BIMsmith to equip the building design community to easily choose IMETCO’s premium metal solutions for their BIM projects.”

“For architects, material selection is always a balancing act of form vs. function, aesthetics vs. performance,” said Benjamin Glunz, CEO at BIMsmith. “We are excited to welcome IMETCO’s premium building envelope products to BIMsmith, with which architects can achieve both in one solution.”
