New Colors Added To COASTALUME™ Palette

Wilmington, DE - DuPont and U.S. Steel have announced the addition of five new colors available for COASTALUME™, a specialized steel designed for use in coastal environments.

It was noted that the expanded color palette of COASTALUME™ "showcases a selection of earthy tones that reflected the latest trends in roofing design, perfectly timed for summer."

COASTALUME™ has introduced three core colors: Dawn Gray, Matte Black, and Dark Bronze, which can be found on roofs from Florida to California and even Missouri. In response to the market needs, DuPont™ Tedlar® and U.S. Steel have expanded the color palette to include crisp whites, warm browns, and peaceful blues just in time for the summer 2025 building season.

DuPont™ Tedlar® and U.S. Steel launched these new colors recently at the FRSA show in Kissimmee, FL. “FRSA is always a great event, and the perfect way to connect face to face with users of COASTALUME™,” said Brian Veeder, Strategic Accounts Director, DuPont™ Tedlar®. “Tedlar® is new to many roofers, and we love to hear directly how this unique product is meeting the challenges of roofing with metal in coastal environments.”
