Central States Opens New Frame Manufacturing Plant In Arkansas

central-states-springdaleSpringdale, AR - Central States Inc. has opened its new steel frame manufacturing plant, supporting its Central States Building Works division, in Springdale, Arkansas.

The company has invested more than $24 million in the steel frame plant. It is expected to create approximately 50 new jobs in 2025 with plans to grow to 140 employees as additional shifts and capabilities are added.

“This facility is more than just a building—it’s a symbol of our commitment to innovation, our people, and our customers,” said Jennifer Davis, President of Central States Building Works. “We’re proud to bring new jobs, new technology and we’re just getting started.”

Company executives, state officials, and community leaders attended a ribbon-cutting for the new facility on August 7. The facility was announced during a groundbreaking event in November 2023.

“As businesses expand in nearly every corner of our state, the demand for residential and commercial spaces grows, and it’s manufacturing companies like Central States that meet those needs,” said Arkansas Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders. “Congratulations on the opening of your new frame plant, and thank you for your ongoing commitment to the Natural State.”

The Springdale facility, located at 1546 Kendrick Avenue in Springdale, is Central States’ 12th manufacturing site. The 105,000-square-foot facility is designed to support Central States’ pre-engineered metal building business and features advanced steel structure manufacturing technologies, including advanced welding systems and automated robotics designed to meet exacting standards while reducing lead times.
