Chicago, IL – The Metal Construction Association (MCA) has launched
the 2025-2026 Metal Architecture Academy on Architectural
Record’s Continuing Education Center, a leading online platform for architects and designers to access articles, webinars, and multimedia presentations that offer continuing education credits free of charge.
In its fifth year, the academy has issued more than 24,700 continuing education credits, with 97% of course participants reporting that they would recommend it to a colleague. The Metal Architecture Academy examines the versatility and innovation
of metal in modern architecture, from achieving remarkable durability to meeting ambitious sustainability targets. Course-takers have the opportunity to earn eight continuing education credits, including AIA/HSW, GBCI, ICC, IDDEC/HSW, and IIBEC.
Courses explore strategies for designing with metal to balance long-term performance with eye-catching aesthetics, highlighting its role in creating buildings and homes that are resilient, efficient, and visually appealing. Real-world examples and
expert insights demonstrate how metal provides durability, environmental advantages, and innovative design.
