Crane Composites Announces Name Change To VALTO Engineered Materials

Channahon, IL — Crane Composites, a leading designer and manufacturer of high-quality fiberglass reinforced panels (“FRP”), has rebranded as VALTO Engineered Materials (“VALTO”) to mark the company’s next chapter of growth.

For over 70 years, VALTO has delivered engineering excellence in composite materials. Honoring the company’s legacy while embracing the future, VALTO continues to lead the market with innovation and expertise.

“Our new name represents not just a change in identity, but a reflection of our continued evolution and growth,” said John O’Sullivan, President of VALTO. “While our name is new, our commitment remains unchanged: delivering quality, performance, and innovation with industry leading service and support.”

The name VALTO is a combination of the words Valeo, symbolizing strength, power, and protection offered by the company’s product portfolio, with Rialto, representing the company’s founding and original offices in the historic Rialto Square Theatre in Joliet, Illinois.

VALTO delivers advanced materials that enhance everyday environments. The company’s culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and high performance is guided by core values of integrity, respect, innovation, teamwork, and excellence.

VALTO’s FRP products will continue under its established brand portfolio—ARMORTUF®, DESIGNS, FILON®, GLASBORD®, GLASBOND®, KEMLITE®, NOBLE®, SEQUENTIA®, and VARIETEX®.
