MBCEA Releases 2025 Building Of The Year Video

mbcea-2025-building-of-the-year-videoBethlehem, PA - The Metal Building Contractors and Erectors Association (MBCEA) has released its newest video, MBCEA 2025 Building of the Year, on its YouTube channel, @MBCEA. The video showcases this year’s top project, the AdventHealth Sports Park at Bluhawk in Overland Park, Kansas.

The project includes two metal buildings housing a gymnasium and ice hockey rink, each with 40' eave heights, standing-seam metal roofs, and metal wall panels. Ironhide Construction of Lincoln, Nebraska, served as the metal building erector, and Chief Buildings of Grand Island, Nebraska, supplied the building systems.

“Our 2025 Building of the Year video highlights the AdventHealth Sports Park at Bluhawk. It is a notable example of what is possible with metal building systems,” said Sasha Demyan, MBCEA Executive Director. “The video is a valuable resource for anyone interested in metal building design and construction.”

The video features interviews with project leaders who provide insights into the vision, challenges, and solutions that shaped the award-winning facility. Viewers will hear directly from the professionals who brought the project to life, emphasizing the strength, flexibility, and aesthetic qualities of metal building construction. Interviewees include Chad Aldrich and Jeff Wolgamott of Ironhide Construction; Erin Sullivan of Chief Buildings; and Bart Lowen of Price Brothers Management Co.

In addition to the 2025 Building of the Year feature, MBCEA’s YouTube channel hosts more than 40 videos, including past winners, contest information, MBCEA membership benefits, AC478 accreditation, and highlights from the Annual Conference.
