New Franklin, OH – RICOWI, the Roofing Industry Committee on Weather Issues, has announced the release of the Texas A&M Hailstorm Report. This report, the latest completed by the organization, is available for download from the RICOWI website.

The Texas A&M report details the findings of an April 8, 2025 investigation of Texas A & M University buildings after a major thunderstorm hit the College Station, TX campus in March 2025. The Texas A&M Hailstorm Report looked at both hail damage and roofing performance following the storm event.

This report provides an in-depth, unbiased analysis of hail impacts on roofing systems and related structures, based on inspections conducted by trained field teams. It is part of RICOWI’s ongoing mission to advance weather-related roofing science and help industry professionals, property owners, and researchers better understand how severe hail events affect building performance.
