These two new ultra high-cycle, low-maintenance solutions are designed to offer high-cycle durability at a fantastic value.

The TruCycle line is designed for continuous-traffic applications, including parking garages, loading docks, logistics centers, and retail security. Built on more than a century of innovation, both the door and grille are designed without springs, eliminating the leading point of failure in industrial doors and grilles for maximum uptime and delivering the performance and dependability that are essential for heavy-traffic commercial and industrial environments.

•  Industry-leading warranty: The TruCycle Service Door comes with a 3-year or 500,000-cycle warranty, and the TruCycle Security Grille includes a 3-year or 300,000-cycle warranty. 

•  Springless, direct-drive design: By replacing springs with a direct-drive operator and motor-mounted variable frequency drive (VFD), the TruCycle series provides precision control and soft start and stop, reducing maintenance and extending system life. 

•  APEX™ Core SmartController®: This controller is Clopay Corporation’s smallest ever and includes plug-and-play connections to the operator plus standard sensors to reduce installation time. A compact panel features an LCD screen for from-ground commissioning, electronic limit setting, and status/error messaging.

•  Monitored protection: Standard UL 325-2010 compliant, NEMA 4X-rated photo eye sensors allow for momentary contact operation. Interruption of the beam immediately halts and reverses the door or grille to the fully open position.

More about the TruCycle Service Door  

The TruCycle Service Door features a galvanized steel hood that encloses the curtain and provides weather resistance at the head of the door. The door is available in service and insulated models. The insulated model (HCESD30) comes standard with the Energy-Efficient Air Infiltration Sealing Package that reduces air infiltration by up to 94% when compared to standard doors. Steel-angle guides are standard with optional perimeter sealing using a double-brush weather strip. The insulated model meets ASHRAE 90.1, 2015 IECC, and California’s Title 24 air infiltration requirements with an independently tested value of less than 0.3 CFM/FT2. The door can endure windloads up to 50 PSF static and up to 10 PSF operational. 

More about the TruCycle Security Grille 

The TruCycle Security Grille is a secure grille barrier constructed of heavy-duty, mill-finished aluminum links and 5/16” aluminum rods spaced 2” on center. Aluminum tube spacers are on every rod in a brick pattern or on alternate rods in a straight pattern with 9" link spacing. Guides are extruded, mill-finished aluminum with a fully replaceable bellmouth, and the heavy-duty aluminum bottom bar is also available in a sloped design.
