Kingspan Insulation North America Expands GreenGuard Portfolio

Atlanta, GA – Windows, doors and wall penetrations are among the most vulnerable points in a building envelope, where gaps and improper sealing can lead to costly moisture intrusion. To help contractors address these challenges, Kingspan Insulation North America, a leader in high-performance insulation and building envelope solutions, has announced the expansion of its GreenGuard® portfolio to include three new flashing products designed to improve moisture protection while reducing installation time and labor.

The expanded lineup includes GreenGuard SuperStretch Acrylic Flashing, GreenGuard Corner Flashing and GreenGuard Pipe Flashing. Each solution targets critical transition points in wall assemblies, helping contractors create more consistent, watertight seals without complicated installation methods.

The three new solutions include: 

● GreenGuard SuperStretch Acrylic Flashing: A flexible, self-adhering waterproof flashing designed for windows, doors and other building penetrations. Its high-tack acrylic adhesive bonds to common substrates, including oriented strand board (OSB), and seals tightly around nails, staples and rough surfaces to help block moisture intrusion. A thin profile and split-release backing simplify installation, while its ability to adhere to damp surfaces provides added flexibility in varying jobsite conditions.

● GreenGuard Corner Flashing: A pre-formed, easy-to-install polyethylene flashing that creates a waterproof barrier at window corners, eliminating the need to stretch traditional flashing tape around complex angles. Available in 3-inch and 6-inch sizes, it features UV protection and requires no priming or sealants, helping reduce installation time and the risk of gaps or pinholes.

● GreenGuard Pipe Flashing: A pre-formed flashing designed to seal around pipes, vents and conduits where they penetrate exterior walls. Its flexible design conforms to openings without the need for additional caulking or taping, streamlining installation while helping maintain long-term air and moisture protection.
