Two buildings make up this Osceola County Agricultural Center project at Heritage Park in Kissimmee, FL. One measures 89,000 sq. ft. and the other 152,000 sq. ft.
The 150’-wide exhibition building features a full-width bi-fold door at the center, while the 267’ clear span Silver Spurs Arena seats over 8,000 around the bowl, with a clear height of 42’. The buildings utilized truss beam and continuous truss framing by VP Buildings.
VP’s SSR Galvalume standing seam roofing was used to cover the facilities. The walls feature Panel Rib profiles in Arctic White and custom colors, along with insulated sandwich panels by Metl-Span.
The metal building contractor was Canco General Contractor Inc. of Tampa, FL. The project was designed by HHCP Architects Inc. of Knoxville, TN. Owner of the project is Osceola County, FL.
