This African Elephant Sanctuary features polycarbonate panels, supplied by Sundance Supply, installed on metal building frames. 16mm is used on both sides of exterior walls. 8mm is used on both sides of interior walls. The result is an interior space that feels open and is bathed with natural light.

Contractor for the project was Principle Building Group, Chapel Hill, TN. The architect was Cary F. Dunn. In addition to winning a Design Merit Award from Gulf Coast Region AIA, this project was featured on The Discovery Channel, PBS, 20/20, CNN and in TIME Magazine.
