Parkwest is West Knoxville, TN's largest medical center. The campus includes one of the area's first all-digital catheterization laboratories and a comprehensive breast center with a multidisciplinary approach to women's health.
In March 2005 Parkwest opened its six-story Riverstone Tower - part of a $100 million project that comprises 326,000 square feet of new construction, an additional 214 beds, and 45,000 square feet of renovated space.
Used on the exterior walls, CENTRIA factory foam-insulated Formawall® Dimension Series® panels have a specific Duracast finish, which is a textured coating system. This coating consists of a permanent, non-absorbent acrylic and silica coating applied over a special polyester base coat. The panels’ Duracast finish in Off-White acrylic gives the building a non-reflective, natural appearance.
The architect for this project was Earl Swenson & Assoc., Nashville, TN. The general contractor/installer was Turner Universal, Brentwood, TN. The CENTRIA dealer was Wylie Steel Products, Nashville, TN.
