10-50 Jackson Avenue is a luxury condominium that is part of the transformation of Long Island City into one of the most exciting new locations of urban life in the New York Metropolitan Area.
The 20-story building was designed by Gene Kaufman Architects of New York City. Known for their use of distinctive and innovative exterior materials, the architect selected Omega-Lite® ACM panels, manufactured by Laminators Inc. of Hatfield, PA.
The project’s general contractor was Vantage Partners, a joint effort of Emmy Building Company and The Lions Group, all builders in the New York City Metropolitan Area for over 40 years.
The exterior cladding for the building consists of 42,000 ft² of 6 mm Omega-Lite ACM panels in Bright Silver and Sierra Tan. The panels were installed using Laminators’ patented Clip & Caulk installation system. This economical installation system allows installers to fabricate the panels on-site without the need for costly shop fabrication.
The panels were supplied by A-Porcel Trading Company located in The Bronx, NY.
