To advance the nautical look and residential feel of the new Aqua condominium at the Pelican Isle Yacht Club in Naples, FL, Curtain Gaines Hall Jones of Tampa, FL topped the 11-story ultra-luxury condominium development with jobsite-manufactured metal roofing from Englert Inc. of Perth Amboy, NJ. Architect Robert Hall cited the metal's ability to resist the effects of prolonged exposure to salt air and water as the reason why the new roof was formed from aluminum rather than steel.

Units at the new Aqua start at $2 million. Many come with boat slips and for a mere $400,000 extra, owners can have private cabanas at the water's edge.

Approximately 22,000 sq. ft. of Englert's Series 2500 standing seam roofing in a Champagne color was specified for the project. For radiused roof sections the panels tapered to a width of just 1" at the terminus. Accent points on the roof and at different floor heights were also crafted in standing seam.

West Coast Florida Roofing of Fort Myers, FL installed the roofing. Anco Roofing of Fort Myers was the fabricator. The project's developer was the EcoGroup, Inc. of Tampa.
