The Pierce features 230 pet-friendly units and boasts deal-closing extras such as an Internet café, outdoor swimming pool, recreational center, fitness center with a cardio theater, bike room, gourmet coffee bar, and outdoor courtyard lounge with a fireplace and kitchen for BBQs.
This mixed-use housing/retail development is situated on almost two acres and fronts three different streets in downtown San Jose. General contractor Clark Builders Group of Monterey, CA completed construction in 2016. Part of that construction included installing 9,000 sq. ft. of Laminators' Omega-Lite ACM panels using the panel maker's proprietary Clip & Caulk installation system. Steinberg Architects, San Francisco, CA selected many different color ACM panels to fit in with the innovative and energetic urban theme. Architectural Building Products, Buffalo, NY, distributed the material, specified in and earthy but lively palette of colors that included Sierra Tan, Sandstone, Dove Grey and custom color Storm Cloud.
