Pinellas Expo Center, Pinellas Park, FL, was reroofed with vertical rib roofing installed over an existing standing seam roof with the aid of Roof Hugger retrofit roof framing.
The new 3”-high 16” o.c. vertical rib panels, rolled on-site, were fastened on top of 3-1/2”- and 7-1/4”-high Roof Huggers that were installed on existing 24” o.c. trapezoidal standing seam panels.
The retrofit roofing contractor for the 14,000 sq. ft. project was Nu-Tec Roofing Div. of New Millennium Roofing, Tampa, FL. Law Engineering & Environmental Services Inc. handled engineering.
