About the Door & Access Systems Manufacturers Association
The Door & Access Systems Manufacturers Association (DASMA) was created in 1996 through the consolidation of two of groups: the Door Operator & Remote Control Manufacturers Association (DORCMA) and the National Association of Garage Door Manufacturers (NAGDM). In 2006, the American Rolling Door Institute (ARDI) merged into DASMA. The organization’s divisions include the Commercial & Residential Garage Door Division, the Operator & Electronics Division, the High-Performance Door Division, the Rolling Door Division and an Associate Division.
