James Sylvestre Enterprises, an American Buildings Company (ABC) Authorized Builder, helped to continue the Cooper’s Hawk Vineyards reputation of unspoiled beauty and rustic simplicity by building a winery as charming as the Lake Erie North Shore region.
James Sylvestre Enterprises constructed the 9,578-square-foot winery in Harrow, Ontario, Canada by using a single slope framing system with a three-inch overhang around the building and bright red Standing Seam 360 panels for the roof.
The winery features an open crush pad for processing grapes, an epoxy coated floor, rough sawn cedar timbers on the exterior with a rough sawn cedar trellis system and a covered seating area for wine tastings.
Headquartered in Tecumseh, Ontario, James Sylvestre Enterprises was awarded first place in the commercial category for their work on Cooper’s Hawk Winery in the 2013 ABC Excellence in Design Awards. ABC’s Excellence in Design Awards competition recognizes builders and roofers for their innovation and distinction in design.
