Varco Pruden Buildings

The new Dordt University Agricultural Stewardship Center in Sioux Center, Iowa, is a 26,325 sq. ft. facility constructed with Ridge Frame and Continuous Beam framing from Varco Pruden Buildings.

Bouma & Company Inc. of Orange City, Iowa was the Varco Pruden Builder for the agricultural education complex, while also handling design of the project

The building contains classrooms, offices, a large meeting space, kitchen, conference room and welding lab. There is also an area of the structure that is used for teaching equipment repair.

In addition to the steel framing, Varco Pruden also supplied its SSR standing seam roofing for the project, as well as Panel Rib metal walls. Cedar accents were also used.

Completed in October 2018, the Dordt University Agricultural Stewardship Center was named the Best of Schools Winner in the 2020 Varco Pruden Hall Of Fame presentation.
