Located in Effingham, IL, Dust & Son Auto Supply’s facility features metal building framing by VP Buildings. The store’s exterior walls sport a mixture of VP’s TextureClad and Vee Rib panels, combined with masonry elements.

In addition, Dust & Son Auto Supply has a bar joist mezzanine on either end of the facility, with a light-gauge mezzanine throughout. Materials for the covered entry were supplied by VP.

The project’s owners were pleased with their new facility. “Our new VP building is very efficient to operate,” they said. “The design makes it more productive for us to operate our automotive parts and equipment store. The outside look is very attractive and inviting.”

Among the VP Buildings’ products used on this project were SSR roofing in a Cool Colonial Red color, Snap Seal architectural roofing; Vee Rib wall panels in Cool Sierra Tan and Doeskin colors; and TextureClad panels.

TextureClad combines the rich look of textured stucco with the strength and durability of 20 gauge steel to create a lightweight, easy-to-install, exterior wall system. Panels are designed to meet the demands of local building ordinances where traditional metal wall panels are prohibited. The finish is resistant to water, cracking, flaking, chalking, and mildew and backed with a 20-year warranty. TextureClad panels can be attached directly to standard wall girts with up to 6" of batt insulation and also work great as a soffit.
