Rigid Frame metal building systems by Varco Pruden Buildings are prominently featured as part of the Nacarato Volvo facility in La Vergne, TN. The 80,270 sq. ft. truck sales and service center is comprised of two buildings. The main building - housing sales, parts and service operations - measures 56,750 sq. ft., while a 23,520 sq. ft. body repair and paint shop building is also situated on 12 acres of paved area.

The facility designs include waste oil/natural gas boiler floor heating systems, as well as modern energy-efficient lighting and HVAC. Building envelope and cool colors, to optimize energy efficiency, were key considerations in the design.

Varco Pruden’s products that were used on the Nacarato Volvo project included Galvalume-coated steel roofing and Cool Arctic White-colored wall panels. Both the roof and wall panels are Varco Pruden’s Panel Rib profile. The front office area of the main building used conventional construction materials.

The Varco Pruden Builder was Hoyt Hayes Construction of Jackson, TN. The Designer was HFR Design of Brentwood, TN. The project, owned by Patriot LLC, was completed in August 2012.
