MBMI's Capabilities Include Complex Projects And Global Reach

Colorado

The Shelter Distilling building in Montrose, CO, was designed and built using three distinct styles of framing packages, as well as metal wall panels, from MBMI Metal Buildings.

Delray Beach, FL – It’s not boasting if you can back it up, and for MBMI Metal Buildings of Delray Beach, claims about being able to create any type of metal building to suit its customers’ needs are indeed backed up by the company’s extensive project portfolio.

“From farm storage to horse arenas, to commercial plant buildings, we have done it all and there are no limitations on creativity,” says the company. But adding to the company’s capabilities is the fact it can supply those buildings whether local to the state of Florida, elsewhere in North America or even halfway around the globe.

In Florida, where the bulk of the company’s 3,000+ satisfied customers are located, MBMI has strong inroads into the agricultural sector and supplies horse barns, processing plants and everything in between. An example can be found in an untitled project the company shared involving an undisclosed customer. The project features three 60’-wide metal framing packages placed to end to end to form one large building. At one end is a 60’ x 100’-long structure with a 20’ eave. Next to it is a 60’ x 75’ structure with a 35’ eave, and on the opposite end is a 60’ x 25’ structure with a 20’ eave. In all cases, the roof pitches are 2:12.

Florida

In Florida, MBMI's agricultural projects run the gamut from horse barns, to processing plants and everything in between. The building above for an undisclosed customer incorporates three MBMI framing packages arranged end to end.

“Here are some pictures of the building and as you can see it looks great!” said the correspondence between the customer and MBMI. “We are almost done with this site and getting ready for the next MBMI Building!”

Also on the North American continent but some 2,000 miles away, an MBMI metal building package was utilized for the  Shelter Distilling microbrewery in Montrose, CO. Mixing a number of different styles of framing systems, this project presented a different type of challenge to MBMI’s in-house engineering department, but the finished project speaks for itself. It’s a beautiful building and perfectly achieves the Rocky Mountain design aesthetic.

Utilized for the construction of the building was 54’-wide by 112’-long primary framing system with a 36’ eave and 2:12 roof pitch. Supplemental framing systems include a 54’ x 112’ x 36’ single-sloping package along with an 18’ x 52’ x 13’ lean-to package. Ribbed metal panels supplied for the project were Burnished Slate and Steel Gray in color.

“Another great project with MBMI!” said Todd Schmitt, Director of PreConstruction at PNCI Construction, Inc., Grand Junction, CO. “After working with MBMI for some 15+ years they continue to be a trusted partner and once again have delivered an excellent building with the high standards they have proven and now we have come to expect. We are always amazed at the speed and efficiency they work and produce a product that we just cannot find anywhere else.”

In Croatia, MBMI provided the framing system for an industrial building erected in four weeks by a crew of three in inclement weather.

And finally, half a world away in Sisak City, Croatia, a customer tapped MBMI to supply the metal building package for an 82’-wide by 105’-long industrial building featuring a 1:12 roof pitch.

“The building looks great and it took us four weeks to build it with three people,” the customer reported. “Believe or not, we erected this metal industrial building during heavy snowfall and rain but it went up fast and easy nevertheless.”
