Meeting the need for large buildings with column-free interior spaces is no problem for Rigid Global Buildings, as evidenced by the successful use of a Rigid steel building system for the construction of the 65,000 sq. ft. Foothills Sports Arena in Littleton, CO.

Saunders Construction of Centennial, CO, built the 200' x 320' building for the Foothills Park & Recreation District. The building’s signature feature is a 100 yd. x 60 yd. synthetic turf field used for indoor soccer, lacrosse, flag football and a variety of other activities.

The building is clad with 26-gauge steel R panels, supplied by Rigid with the manufacturer’s Spectralite 2000 silicone polyester (SMP) paint finish. The roof panels are Rigid's standard 26-gauge PBR panels formed from Galvalume-coated steel.
