Known for its innovation and visionary thinking, Lone Star College System is the largest institution of higher education in the Houston area and the fastest growing community college system in Texas. Its newest satellite center is located in Conroe, Texas and features metal products from MBCI.

The Lone Star College-Conroe Center includes two of MBCI’s panel profiles. The roofing system consists of 9,000 square feet of MBCI’s Double-Lok® 24-gauge standing seam roof panels in Silver Metallic color. It also includes 10,000 square feet of the 24-gauge Artisan® Series soffit panels, also in Silver Metallic. The simplicity of the Artisan Series panel allows for uniform dimensions and a clean appearance.

The facility was completed in November 2010. The roofing contractor was Tip Top Sheet Metal of Houston, TX. The project designer was Perspectiva Architects, also of Houston, TX.
