Over 34,000 sq. ft. of aluminum louver products from Ohio Gratings, Inc. (OGi) of Canton, Ohio were utilized on the exterior of the newly completed Marquis Condominiums project in Miami, Florida. The company’s LG-60 and LG-100 louvers were incorporated on the development’s parking garage while LG-37 louvers were used as grilles around the mechanicals on the roof.

Both the LG-60 Visi-Screen and LG-100 Visi-Block feature 45-degree blades, making them ideal for both ventilation and line-of-sight solutions. “Our screening systems provide the architectural look of a solid structure while providing the required ventilation for parking garage requirements and other open area requirements such as mechanical units,” noted a release on the project by Ohio Gratings.

“All of our products are manufactured with at least 10% pre-consumer and 40% post-consumer scrap and are 100% recyclable at the end of their life span. Many of our products can be used to gain LEED credits, helping to reduce energy usage along with other benefits,” the release continued.
