Reserve At Park Ten Office Building

Berridge Metal Wall Profile Meets Architect's Requirements For Houston Office Building

The Reserve at Park Ten is a master-planned office complex located in the West Houston Energy Corridor (Houston, Texas). Arcon Architects of League City, TX, designed the project’s initial structure—a six-story, 150,000 sq. ft. Class A office building with a parking garage—using a palette of low-maintenance, regionally produced, sustainable products, including metal wall panels from Berridge Manufacturing Co. of San Antonio, TX.

Berridge produces a wide array of metal panel systems for roof and wall applications, including profiles that can be formed in the factory or at the job site. For this particular project the company supplied its HR-16 profile. The 7/8"-deep HR-16 panel provides 16” coverage and features ribs on 4” centers. It can be installed vertically but was developed with horizontal installations like this office building in mind. Panels with a Champagne paint finish—ranging in length from 12’ to 27’ and totaling 19,375 sq. ft.—were installed by Byrne Metals Corporation of Porter. TX. Custom-fabricated mitered corners were used to give the installation a highly detailed look.

The project was completed in July 2009. KDW Ltd. of Houston was the general contractor.
