Located in Cleveland, OH’s Ohio City neighborhood, The Quarter is the area’s newest sustainable apartment complex. This mixed-use, green building includes 194 luxury apartments and over 30,000 square feet of commercial space including a grocery store, dry cleaner, and a music school to name a few.

The state-of-the-art, five-story, 270,400 square foot development is situated on two acres of land at the corner of West 25^th and Detroit. With timeless ambiance, modern characteristics and a unique design, The Quarter offers one-bedroom, two-bedroom and studio apartments with city, neighborhood and lake views, as well as a zero-edge heated pool, in-suite laundry, fully-equipped gym, dog park, dog washing station, fire pits, grills, and climate-controlled underground parking.

Durability and sustainability were extremely important when designing the interior and exterior of the building, with a portion of The Quarter getting its energy through solar power.

For the exterior, RC Glass in Twinsburg, OH, installed over 27,000 square feet of Laminators Incorporated Omega-Lite ACM panels using Laminators’ 1-Piece, Tight-Fit installation system. This proprietary system made panel installation easy using their durable 1-piece moldings—both "H" and "Reveal H" moldings are available providing two different design options for the panel joints. By utilizing the Laminators cladding system, the design team was able to achieve an appearance that is both traditional and high-tech, at an affordable cost.

Omega-Lite panels offer a highly decorative, strong, and durable surface finish for exterior wall surfaces. Composed of a polypropylene, corrugated core between two finished aluminum sheets, these panels are non-absorbent, water-resistant and easy to maintain.

Architect and design firm, Vocon, headquartered in Cleveland, utilized a color palette that consisted of Dove Grey, Charcoal Grey, Black, and Bright Metallic Silver for the metal wall panels to coincide with their modern and timeless theme.

Laminators’ Omega-Lite panels installed with the 1-Piece, Tight-Fit system guaranteed The Quarter a class A fire rating as well as met NFPA (National Fire Protection Association) 285, Miami-Dade County Product Control and Florida Product Approval requirements. Laminators Inc. manufactures high quality ACM panels that meet these stringent performance levels and provide design professionals and building owners the confidence that their cladding will withstand the most extreme conditions.

General contractor, Snavely Company of Cleveland completed the $60 million construction project in 2018.  Now, with almost all apartments rented and commercial spaces filled, The Quarter has become an integral part of Ohio City, catering to a variety of different preferences and lifestyles.
