Varco Pruden Builder™ Bayland Buildings Inc., a Wisconsin-based, design-build general contractor specializing in commercial, agriculture and industrial markets, constructed Camping World, a new RV and outdoor retail store in Saukville, Wis.
The 38,665-square-foot structure, located on East Green Bay Avenue, includes Varco Pruden’s clear-span Rigid Frame™ solution, designed to increase interior space. Rigid Frame™ is an ideal system when economical, column-free interior space is desired. Varco Pruden’s SSR™ Standing Seam Roof (24-gauge Galvalume™) was used as the roof system on the facility. And the walls of the building were constructed using two-inch insulated TuffWall™ panels.
Camping World, among the nation's largest RV and outdoor retailers, operates 95 supercenters nationwide. The company considers the Saukville site to be its “Milwaukee market” entry retail center.
Chairman and CEO of Camping World Marcus Lemonis said the location has a strong base of Campingworld.com customers.
“This location fits nicely into our existing footprint. We are excited to move forward in our own growth while serving our customers’ outdoor, RV and camping needs,” Lemonis said.
The Camping World store offers RVs, service and camping equipment, and features motorhomes and towables from several well-known manufacturers and brands including Winnebago Industries, Fleetwood, Thor Motor Coach, Itasca, Coleman, Heartland, Keystone, Forest River, Cross Roads, Monaco, Holiday Rambler, Jayco, Starcraft and Coachmen.
