A new boat storage and sales location for DiMillo's Yacht Sales opened in Freeport, Maine in May 2018. The 12,432 sq. ft. operation features Rigid Frame construction from Varco Pruden Building Systems.

DiMillo's Yacht Sales was selected as a winner in the Retail category in the 2019 Varco Pruden Hall Of Fame presentation.

DiMillo’s Yacht Sales is a professional yacht dealership and brokerage firm with six locations from Maine to Maryland, representing a variety of yacht brands while also offering service. The VP Builder for the Freeport facility was Patco Construction Inc. of Sanford, Maine. The designer was John W. Einsiedler, R.A. of Kennebunk, Maine.

11,920 sq. ft. of the new structure is used for boat storage and the remaining 512 sq. ft. is used for sales. The sales bump-out, framed with wood at a lower height, projects from the steel-framed structure and adds visual interest to the building.

Along with the Rigid Frame system, Varco Pruden Buildings supplied metal wall and roof panels. The SSR profile, formed from Galvalume-coated steel, was used on the roof. Panel Rib wall panels in Cool Cotton White color were installed on the top portion of the storage area.

Making the building cost-effective while also meeting the town of Freeport's design standards was a challenge. This was achieved by adding vinyl siding and trim with numerous windows for natural lighting.
