A bright blue entryway, rendered in Omega-Lite aluminum composite material from Laminators Inc., welcomes employees and visitors to the new home of ElectriPack Inc. in the Dayton, Ohio suburb of Miamisburg. The company moved in September 2013 from its former location just a few miles to the west, into the new spec building, which is located in the Austin Business Park. The 80-acre park is being developed by BW Partners, a joint venture of Fornes Realty and Construction Managers of Ohio. Fornes Realty is also a tenant in the 60,000 sq. ft. ElectriPack building.
ElectriPack Inc. is a relatively young company. Founded in 2002, it makes wire harnesses for industries that include trucking, construction, boating and mining. The move to a larger facility was in response to the company's continued growth.
Roll & Associates of Dayton, OH designed the new structure and a similar second building that is now leasing. With the front entrance designated as the architectural focal point, the firm gave life to that section by covering its elements with Slate Blue Omega-Lite aluminum composite panels. The panels were installed by JMD Architectural Products of Tipp City, OH. The metal panels were attached using Laminators' 2-Piece, Snap-Fit Molding system. 3,500 sq. ft. of the Omega-Lite aluminum composite panels were needed to complete the project.
