Located in the Short North Arts District of Columbus, OH, is GreenHouse Short North, a new seven-story, mixed-use development with 158 units. The amenities and retail partners at GreenHouse Short North are centered on enhancing tenants’
well-being and feature a sauna, Himalayan salt meditation area, mediative water features, spa treatment rooms, cold plunge pool, and rooftop pool. Also included are electric vehicle charging stations, covered bicycle parking, energy-efficient appliances
and windows, and modern appliances and architectural accents.
The exterior features approximately 64,000 square feet of Omega-Lite® by
Laminators Incorporated. The Bright Silver and Grey Mica metallic
aluminum composite material (ACM) panels were installed by Ohio Glass and Aluminum, Columbus, using Laminators’ drained and back-ventilated 1-Piece, Tight-Fit Moldings installation system.
Aside from providing a modern, highly decorative exterior, the Omega-Lite ACM panels selected by Humphreys & Partners Architects, L.P., Dallas, TX, provide a strong and durable finish that is easy to maintain. Laminators’ Omega-Lite panels installed
with the 1-Piece, Tight-Fit Moldings installation system guaranteed the owner, Columbus-based Kaufman Development, that GreenHouse Short North meets a class A fire rating as well as NFPA 285, Miami-Dade County Product Control, and Florida Product
Approval requirements. Laminators Incorporated designs and manufactures high-quality ACM panels and systems that meet these stringent performance levels to provide design professionals and building owners with the confidence that the exterior cladding
and wall assembly will withstand the most extreme conditions.
